Goal setting quotes inspire success
How many of us sit back and wait for things to happen?
I was listening to Karren Brady being interviewed (one of the top UK
businesswomen and really quite inspirational).
It was hard work for her to find her work/life balance early on, and she always
had a very strong work ethic, but her father taught her the same goal setting
quote as the George Bernard Shaw one above – “you’ve got to go out and get it,
it won’t come to you”. What wise words those were.
Many of the goal quotes that you can find should really be pushed out
to the youth of today, in schools, colleges and general life, because I do
believe that they are lulled into a false sense of security as far as job
employment is concerned. Many think they are going to be able to walk
into any job they want, no sweat, and no hard work to get there.
But they need to remember, as do most of us, that:

If you are going to succeed at anything in life, however big or small, you need to have goals – you just cannot afford to be like a ship without a rudder.
If you look around you and see successful people and wonder how they have become successful, I can guarantee you that all have set goals. The unsuccessful people (even those that work long and hard but never seem to get anywhere) are the ones without goals.
In short you cannot blame others and/or circumstancres for where you today. You can only look at yourself and ask WHY you are where you are today, and HOW you can move forward. By setting a goal, you will understand exactly where you are heading.
Goal quotes for determination
As Earl Nightingale so accurately points out in
“We become what we think about” which brings me on to this goal quote by Zig Ziglar.
“If you want to reach a goal, you must “see the reaching” in your own mind before actually arriving at your goal”.
If you can’t “see” what it is you want to achieve, your subconscious
mind won’t work for you in helping
you achieve your goal. Negativity will
get the better of you and your dream will be exactly that – a dream, but one

If we become what we thing about, then it stands to reason that if you can’t “see or think” about your goal, then there will be no reward.

Have you ever come across negative minded people? If you have then you’ll know how draining and exhausting they can be. Setting a goal about your daily attitude, about having a positive mental attitude, will be one of the most important decisions you make in your life.
The person with the wrong attitude is “going nowhere”. You know that is a fact. Decide where it is you want to go. Set the correct goals and use these quotes on goals to help you establish your right attitude.
